My name is Joe Caramelo, a dedicated makeup artist whose journey began in the colorful heart of Johannesburg, South Africa. From my early days at Wits University exploring fine arts, I was captivated by the profound beauty in light, color, and shadow. This fascination naturally evolved into a profound passion for makeup artistry, a field where every face is a fresh canvas and every brush stroke a potential masterpiece.

Embarking on this journey led me to the London College of Makeup in Dubai in 2016, and later, to the Toni Malt Academy in 2022, where I immersed myself in the world of beauty and cosmetics. Each step was not just about learning but about becoming part of a larger narrative — the collective artistry that transforms vision into reality.

As a makeup artist, I’ve had the unique privilege of collaborating closely with some of the industry’s leading talents. This experience has taught me more than just the technicalities of makeup; it has shown me the power of teamwork. In the fast-paced environment of TV commercials, editorial shoots, movies, events, and still photography, I’ve learned that every successful project is the result of collective effort, shared insights, and mutual respect.
